Born April 15, 1979; Srikalahasti, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, Ramesh did his Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) in Jawaharlal Technological University, Hyderabad, he exhibited his works all over India and abroad. He received “State Award” from A.P. Crafts Council for the year 2002.
Ramesh Gorjala, depicts Indian mythological figures and ‘episodic narration’ of it in kalamkari style and the approach is entirely Modern. His protagonists are often associated with their vehicles, with full of vigour absorb the space and the subordinate figures that are placed accordingly narrate the story of particular episode.
The artist lives and works in Hyderabad.
