Born in 1962, Vijender received his Masters in Fine Arts with distinction (gold medalist) from the College of Art, New Delhi. He has presented his work as a solo artist in several cities across India and has also been a participant at group exhibitions in India as well as abroad. Vijender’s multidimensional paintings create a deceptive mood, yet narrate the story drawing the attention of the viewer. He deliberately generates appealing meanings out of subtle variations of composition and creates greater intimacy between on looker and the art he produces.
