P.J. Stalin, born on April 4th, 1974 in Vijayawada, A.P., began his formal art education at S.V. College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad, where he completed his B.F.A. He then pursued his M.F.A. at Hyderabad Central University.
Design fundamentals, form, color, and composition influenced P.J. Stalin’s work. He believes that simple forms can evoke complex emotions. His artistic process involves spontaneous beginnings, with the artwork becoming more detailed as the final product takes shape through layering.
He does not create preliminary sketches of his work; instead, he nurtures different forms and shapes in the midst of the artistic process. His color theory is an immediate and instinctive aspect of his work to viewers. P.J. Stalin currently lives and works in Hyderabad.
